About TinyDeskGuide
TinyDeskGuide is a small, independent site about one narrow topic: setting up a comfortable home office in a small space.
Why this site exists
Most desk advice assumes a spare room and a big budget. Most people working from home in apartments, studios and shared houses have neither. They have one wall, a few feet of floor, and a real need to sit (and stand, and walk) comfortably for years. That gap is what this site works on.
What we publish
- Size and fit guides for small desks, standing desks and converters.
- Walking pad guidance written for apartments, not gyms.
- Ergonomics and setup tips that cost little or nothing to apply.
- Free planning tools, starting with our desk-size calculator.
How we write
- Measurements over marketing. Widths, depths and clearances you can check yourself.
- No invented prices. Prices change constantly; we do not publish figures we cannot stand behind.
- No fake reviews. We do not pretend to have tested products we have not used. Where a guide is based on specifications and research rather than hands-on testing, it is written that way.
- Clear about money. If this site ever earns from affiliate links or advertising, that will be disclosed openly — see our affiliate disclosure.
Who it is for
Renters, apartment dwellers, students, and anyone whose "office" is a corner of a bedroom or living room in the US and beyond. If your workspace has to fit real life — doors that open, chairs that roll, roommates who walk past — you are in the right place.
